Danmark Spiser Sammen

‘Danmark Spiser Sammen’ (Denmark Dines Together) is a national initiative taken by the non-profit organization ‘Folkebevægelsen mod Ensomhed’ (The People’s Movement Against Loneliness) in an effort to reduce the amount of lonely people around the country. To make their vision come true they needed a digital platform on which people and organizations could invite lonely strangers to a meal.

The task, then, was to create a responsive website which made it easy for the primary target group – the lonely Danes – to find a place to meet new friends while making it fast and worthwhile for the secondary target group – the people and organizations who wanted to share a meal – to create an event. The end result took the shape of an interactive map exhibiting the hospitality and willingness of the participating Danes.
